Senior Consultant - Financial Consolidation (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead complex financial consolidation and group reporting projects from start to finish. Combining deep functional consolidation expertise with a strong consulting mindset, you will ensure successful project delivery, high customer satisfaction and sustainable, auditable Jedox-based solutions.
- Lead end-to-end consolidation projects: Drive the implementation of Financial Consolidation and Group Reporting on the Jedox platform, from requirements analysis through to the go-live stage and post-close stabilisation.
- Design scalable consolidation solutions: Provide configuration and validation of solutions that cover the scope of consolidation, ownership structures, capital consolidation, minority interests and equity accounting.
- Implement intercompany and elimination logic: Design and manage intercompany reconciliation, eliminations, and variance analysis to ensure accurate group results.
- Manage currency translation and CTA: Implement foreign currency translation processes, including cumulative translation adjustments, aligned with IFRS and local GAAP requirements.
- Ensure auditability & data quality: Design and support journals, manual adjustments, audit trails, and internal controls while maintaining high data quality and governance.
- Act as a trusted advisor & collaborator: Advise CFOs and Group Accounting teams on consolidation best practices and collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Partners, including presales and PoCs.
Your Profile
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a similar subject.
- Over 5 years' experience in financial consolidation consulting and/or corporate group accounting.
- Proven track record of delivering financial consolidation and group reporting solutions.
- In-depth understanding of IFRS and/or local GAAP, as well as the entire financial close process.
- Extensive expertise in intercompany eliminations, currency translation accounting (CTA), equity and minority interests, journals and auditability.
- Experience of working with EPM/CPM/consolidation systems and multidimensional data models.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, including senior-level interaction
- Fluency in German and at least conversational English
