Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Project Manager (EPM), you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Jedox EPM projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope to maximise customer satisfaction. You will manage cross-functional teams, oversee project execution and act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders, driving excellence and collaboration in line with Jedox's values.

  • Lead project delivery: Manage the implementation of Jedox projects for key accounts, ensuring they are completed successfully and on time.
  • Coordinate stakeholders: Act as the central point of contact for clients, internal teams (including R&D) and executive stakeholders to foster strong collaboration across our #OneTeam environment.
  • Manage project lifecycle: Oversee all phases of the project, from gathering requirements and planning to execution, monitoring and delivery.
  • Ensure quality and compliance: Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure adherence to internal standards and compliance requirements.
  • Drive timelines and resources: Organise resources effectively. Manage resources effectively. Ensure projects stay on track. Keep track of time. Keep track of budget. Keep track of scope.
  • Identify and mitigate risks: Ensure delivery excellence by proactively detecting project risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Track and communicate progress: Monitor milestones and provide regular status updates to stakeholders and executive management.
  • Support continuous improvement: Improve Jedox products and services by providing feedback from customer projects, thereby contributing to innovation and impactful results.
  • Provide backup support: Provide assistance with other implementation-related activities and projects as required..

Your Profile

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT project management, ideally in complex environments as well as 8+ years of professional experience within the IT consulting industry
  • A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) is expected, with a Master’s degree seen as an added benefit
  • Proven track record in successfully delivering finance transformation projects (CPM/EPM, ERP, BI)
    Strong ability to manage cross-functional teams as well as project resources, budgets, and scope effectively
  • Solid knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and frameworks; certifications (e.g. PRINCE2, PMI, IPMA) are a plus
  • Confident when engaging with both senior stakeholders and operational teams, with the ability to adjust communication style depending on the audience
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering value and continuously improving products and services
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills combined with a proactive, structured, and reliable way of working
  • Fluency in German and business-fluent English, enabling effective communication with both local and international stakeholders
